The main subject of this convo stemmed from a Tik Tok post from Yaz (@BrooklynBred1981 on Tik Tok) entitled “Hood Fright”, where she followed a recent popular social media trend stating “I’m a Black person, and I’m afraid to admit this…”.

Well, instead of mentioning something more comical or entertaining, she admitted to something that sent the internet into an uproar. Stating that she gets “really nervous and anxious” when she’s around “hood people”. This revelation started a huge online exchange, which drove the post up to 1.3 million views and counting.
